“Open to Hope in the Celtic Tradition” CECE Spirituality Retreat 2025, 16-18 May, Eremo di Lecceto, Florence, Italy.The annual Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe is a chance to encounter the living God in beautiful Tuscan countryside, to deepen our prayer lives, make new friends and catch up with old friends from other congregations.forms.gle Our speaker will be Rev. David Osborne, an Anglican priest, writer, and member of the Iona Community. Rev. Osborne lives in Somerset, England.
It is possible to extend your stay by one day on either side of the retreat (to include either May 15 or 19, or both).Eremo di Lecceto is a historic destination that has served since the fifteenth century and in different eras as an oratory, a hermitage, a church, and a seminary. Fully renovated in the 1970s, it is now a center for Esercizi Spirituali and hosts spiritual retreats.
Reservations will open after convention and will close in April 2025.
The Sanctuary Mental Health and Christianity course. (Jan 14 to March 2025)
The Sanctuary course is an interesting and engaging way to learn about mental illness and to
help equip you and your church community to support people with mental health problems.
It will be running for 8 weeks on Tuesdays from January 14th 2025,
meeting on Jan 14, 21, Feb 4, 11, 25 March 11,18, 25.
We will not meet on January 28, February 18, or March 4.
Online 12.15-14.30 Paris/Munich time, with one 15-minute break.
Each session will include some input on video from experts by experience and experts by
training, a reflection on an art work, small group discussion and plenary discussion. There
are limited places so early booking is recommended.
