CECE Spirituality Retreat: “How do I know it’s God speaking?”

Our retreat Leader will be Sr Kristina Frances, SSM, Superior of the Society of St. Margaret, Duxbury Massachusetts https://societyofstmargaret.org/

The spirituality retreat gathers people from across the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe for a time away from every-day life to draw nearer to God in prayer and contemplation. 

We arrive in time for the evening meal on Friday at 18.00 and leave after lunch on Sunday (starts at 12.00). As is typical of Austrian and German retreat centres the main meal is at lunchtime, the evening meal is cold. Participants are invited to contact the hotel directly if they wish to arrive early or to extend their stay.

Individuals pay for their own food, accommodation and travel. We have a generous grant from CECE which will cover the costs of the seminar rooms, retreat director and organisers. All rooms are ensuite and accessible by elevator, there are a limited number of double rooms (at the same price per person).

Check in is 14.00-18.00 if you will arrive after this time, please let the organisers know ASAP so we can contact the hotel and have your key left in a lockbox. 

Check out is by 10.00 on Sunday, bags can be left securely.

Price per person to include  2x overnight stays, all meals, tea and coffee and a snack is 320 Euro. 

Couples wishing to share a room please complete the form separately for each person,  and indicate preference for a double rooms, these are available on a ‘first come first served’ basis, there is no reduction in cost per person.

The closing date for applications and receipt of deposit is 1st March 2024. We will confirm your place and inform you how to pay a deposit of 100 Euro with the remaining 220 Euro due by 15th April 2024.
