Christ Church is currently in a period of interregnum. During this time, whilst we discern the way forward for our church, we are blessed to have a lay leader, Alison who will often take services with a Eucharist. On other Sundays we have several lay members who take the worship service and this includes a homily or reflection. They offer a wonderful diversity to our worship experience. Occasionally we have a visiting priest who will also join us in leading worship and communion. People from any Christian denomination are welcome at our Church.
Visiting “Bridge” Priests – To help Christ Church during its time without a rector, Bishop Mark Edington and the Convocation staff have arranged for us to frequently have visiting priests. Bishop Mark has asked two experienced priests to share the bridge priest responsibility for us. The first is Reverend Mary Haddad, who was recently Canon at the Episcopal Cathedral in Paris and is currently on sabbatical, and the second is Father Thomas Myers, who is retired from the Diocese of New Jersey.
